west county high. even the words make you shiver. you know
how prestigious a school west county is. you know that it
only accepts the best of the best. you know a lot of things;
it's what you pride yourself on. you're a straight a student;
you're the person who's most likely to end up with a four point
oh grade point average.
what you don't know is that west county high is a school
for the supernatural.
all around you, people are different. some are much taller
than you, others are faster and quieter and always wear
coloured contact lenses. it's your first day. you bump into
people again and again, but they don't mind; they're like
you. new. human. you bump into more people, and eventually
you find one that hurts. you feel like you just ran into a
brick wall.
you never realised how stupid you were. you didn't realise
that this whole damned school was full up to the eyelids
with werewolves and vampires. hell, i didn't figure it out
until four months after i came, and i was dating a
vampire. if that's not stupid, i don't know what is.
and then i died, and my whole life just went down the toilet.
.. oh, did i mention that i was a vampire too?
